This is to inform all Cadets and candidates newly admitted into CHARKIN MARITIME ACADEMY that the resumption date for the 2024 – 2025 Academic session is Monday, September 30, 2024.

However, all newly admitted Cadets are expected to arrive the Academy on Saturday, September 28, 2024 and report to the Regimental Unit Commander (RUC) for verification, Joining Instructions and Routine.

A.     SCHOOL FEES

The School Fees for the
Academy is N3,000,000.00 per academic session bringing the total to N6,000,000.00
for the two (2) year programme.

Newly admitted Cadets are expected to carryout the following prior to resumption:

Payment
of at least 60% of the first year school fees at the beginning of the First
semester, that is N1,800,000.00 into the following Charkin Maritime Academy
account:

and a balance of 40%, N1,200,000.00 at the beginning of the Second semester.

Kindly note that all newly admitted Cadets arriving at the Academy should present a copy of the following for verification and clearance.

i.    Proof of Payment of School fees

ii.   Copy of O’ Level Results (WAEC/NECO)

iii.  Original Copy of JAMB Admission letter (institution copy)

iv.  Copy of Birth Certificate

ITEM FOR CADETS

All incoming Cadets are expected to come with the following items for personal use:

a.      The Charkin
Maritime Academy Regiment operates a Cadets’ Welfare Shop for replenishment of
most items listed above as required.

b.      The School
fees comprises tuition, accommodation and feeding, uniforms and kitting as well
as other miscellaneous charges usually levied on students of higher
institutions.
