ADVERTISEMENT FOR 2025/2026 POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

 

Notice to All Candidates Seeking for Admission into Charkin Maritime Academy for the 2025/2026 Academic Session

All candidates who took part in the 2025 JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and wish to be admitted into the Charkin Maritime Academy, Port Harcourt, are requested  to take note of the followings:-

  1. Candidates  who scored  100 and above  in  the  current 2025 JAMB/UTME  and choose Charkin Maritime Academy as first choice, should visit any JAMB accredited CBT centre, State JAMB office in their current location, login into their profile via CAPS and upload their NECO/WAEC SSCE.
  2. Candidates who  did  not choose CMA  as  their  first  choice  can also  do a change of institution/course  at any JAMB  Accredited  centre or State  office  to study either  Nautical Science or Marine Engineering.

     iii.   Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O’ Level credit passes which must include English  Lang., Mathematics,  Physics  and any  two (2) science  subjects  from  Geography, Technical Drawing, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Agricultural Science as the Academy’s Entry Requirements. Candidates must upload their O‘Level results. Candidates who are awaiting their O’level results may apply but should indicate so.

  1. v. The registration  for the  screening  exercise  will  start on Monday,  11th August to end on Friday, 29thAugust 2025.

 

SCHEDULE FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

The Post-UTME screening exercise will tentatively  take place on Monday, 15th September 2025 at the Academy’s NCDMB HALL by 1000HRS.  Candidates are expected to come along with the followings:

–     Original JAMB Result Slip

–     SSCE Result (WAEC/NECO)

–     Two (2) Coloured Passport Photographs

–     Certified True copy of Birth Certificate

–     Screening fee of N2,000.00

–     The Sum of N18,500.00 (to cover Physical & Medical Fitness Test)

–     A pair of white t-shirt, white shorts and canvas shoes (for physical exercise)
